project x

An offshoot of ideas conjured with Future i and videdot, the as-yet-unnamed project x is a plan to deliver interesting content, by a variety of means to a variety of clients.

It relies on Web technologies to link and refer to everything and some hefty mathematics to both gauge the performance of underlying file transfers and offer useful links to users. We respect the privacy of users and cannot spy on their actions. To ensure this the code will be freely available to all and the communications protocols will be open and well-described. Wherever possible we will use sensible, open standards. Our contribution will be in making it work smartly, and helping others build the systems they need.
